Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2, 2026
These terms cover pax-dei-bounties.com and the Pax Dei Bounties Discord bot (together, "the service"). By using the service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What the service is
Pax Dei Bounties is a fan-made record-keeping tool for player-run bounties in the game Pax Dei. It is run by an independent developer as a free community project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the makers of Pax Dei, Discord, or YouTube.
In-game items only
- Every amount on the service is an in-game item, such as gold. Nothing on the service can be exchanged for real money through us.
- The service never handles real money. We don't sell anything, take payments, or let anyone buy, sell, or cash out in-game items.
- The service holds nothing. Items move only inside the game, between players. The service records what a House's Factor reports and cannot see or check the game itself.
- Don't use the service to arrange trades of in-game items for real money or for anything outside the game. You are responsible for following the game's own rules.
Houses are run by players
Each House is run independently by its Factor and Clerks, who are players. They decide which lines to ratify, review claims, and pay out from their House's in-game storage. We provide the tools, not a guarantee. We are not responsible for how a House is run, for lost or unpaid items, or for decisions made in a review. Take a dispute to the House first. You can also contact us.
Your content
- When you submit a claim, you share a link to a YouTube video. You don't upload it to us. You must have the right to share it, and it must follow YouTube's rules.
- By submitting a claim or placing a line, you agree that it can be shown publicly as described in our Privacy Policy, including your Discord display name and avatar.
- Claim videos must meet the claim checklist. Cut or blur anything private, including other people's chat or voice.
Rules
Don't:
- submit staged, faked, or misleading evidence, or work with other players to collect bounties dishonestly;
- harass, threaten, or target any real person because of a bounty. A bounty is about an in-game character, nothing more;
- post anything hateful, sexual, or illegal, or anything that reveals someone's personal information;
- try to break, overload, or get around the limits of the service.
House staff and the server owner can reject claims and lines, refund lines, remove roles, and remove people from the Discord server for breaking these rules or the server's own rules. Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines also apply.
YouTube
The service uses YouTube API Services to check and show claim videos. By using the service, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
Removal requests and copyright
- To ask us to take something down (for example, a claim video that shows you, or a link to a video you own), email paxdeibounties@gmail.com with a link to the page and the reason.
- Claim videos are hosted by YouTube, not by us. If you own the copyright in a video, you can also report it to YouTube through its copyright removal process. If YouTube removes a video, it stops playing here too.
No warranty
The service is free and provided as is. It may change, break, or shut down at any time, and its records may contain mistakes. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss connected to using the service, including lost in-game items.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, post in our Discord server's announcements channel. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new terms.
